Event Description:
The Hollywood Chamber and Variety are pleased to present the 2015 State of the Entertainment Industry Conference, which will be held on Friday, November 13th at the Loews Hollywood Hotel. Returning as co-chairs for this year’s conference are Paul Audley of FilmL.A., Inc. and Sharon Keyser of Paramount Pictures. The Conference will start with networking at 8:30 a.m. followed by a packed program through 1:30 p.m. Early Bird Special rate before Tuesday, November 10th is $99. Regular Admission after Nov. 10th is $125. Reserve online at www.hollywoodchamber.net/events.
“Since this conference was first held four years ago, it has quickly grown into a major confab to discuss the future of our signature industry,” noted Chamber President and CEO Leron Gubler. “Last year’s event drew widespread media attention. We expect this year to be no different.”
Among the programs being planned for the conference are spotlights on how the film tax credit is working, and the future of music production in Hollywood, as well as panels on how multi-platform TV is creating new realities for television, and where deal-making is going in Hollywood.
In addition, the “Commitment to California” Award will again be presented to someone who has brought work to Southern California. The committee is also working to finalize some keynote speakers for the entertainment industry conference.
Sponsorships have already begun to come in. Variety will again be the presenting sponsor for the event. The Hollywood Museum in the Historic Max Factor Building will be the luncheon sponsor. Breakfast sponsors include Loews Hollywood Hotel, Paramount Pictures, and Sheppard Mullin. Gold-level sponsor is Hudson Pacific Properties and Kilroy Realty. Silver-level sponsors include AT&T, Capitol Records, Millennium Hollywood, Occidental Entertainment Group Holdings, and Paramount Contractors & Developers.
Loews Hollywood Hotel is located at 1755 N. Highland Ave. in Hollywood. Self parking is available at Hollywood & Highland Center for $20 for the day.
