HOLLYWOOD, CA- The legendary LA Connection Comedy Group, will be headlining a Memorial Day benefit for veterans organization, the Hollywood Post 43, which is part of the American Legion. The performance, aptly called The Improv Show, will take place on May 24th at the Hollywood Post 43’s banquet hall, located right in the heart of Hollywood. The show will also feature a unique improv performance featuring not just actors and comedians, but also dancers, poets, singers and various artists from every art form imaginable as well as a silent auction. The whole event aims to raise at least $10,000 for the Hollywood Post 43. “This will be the first event of its’ kind held Los Angeles,” said William Owens, founder of Arts Above The Realm, the organization behind the benefit. “It’s an opportunity for not just the public to give back to our veterans, but also for performers to do so using their various gifts”.
