Heroes of Hollywood Committee Now Accepting Nominations

Plans are underway for the Chamber Foundation’s 2018 Heroes of Hollywood Awards. The annual fundraiser will be held once again at Taglyan Complex on Thursday, May 31st. Carole Sarian of The CrisCom Company and Cindy Braun of Braun Consulting return in their roles as co-chairs of the Heroes of Hollywood Committee.
The annual Heroes of Hollywood Awards is presented by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation. The awards recognize exceptional leaders in the Hollywood community who have transformed the lives of others and/or have made a remarkable contribution to the physical environment. Do you know an outstanding individual, business, or non‐profit organization that has made an extraordinary contribution to the Hollywood community? The Committee is now accepting Nominations for Heroes of Hollywood. You can nominate an individual, business, or non‐profit organization for the 2018 Heroes of Hollywood Awards.

Since 1993, the awards have saluted more than 125 extraordinary leaders from Hollywood, through what was previously named the Women of Distinction Awards. Since 2011, the awards have honored both male and female leaders, as well as families, businesses and organizations. This event serves as one of two major fundraisers for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of Hollywood community members. All funds raised from this luncheon will be awarded in the form of grants to local charitable organizations. The Heroes of Hollywood Awards Committee is comprised of members of the Hollywood Chamber who are volunteers and have proven to be community leaders themselves.
