The 90th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 4th this year in the famous Dolby Theatre where the best stars and films of the year will be honored. In addition to attracting millions of eyeballs from all over the world, the event promotes Hollywood to the world. As the Oscars season is kicking in, Hollywood is preparing to celebrate its most awaited red-carpet event. Due to preparations, Hollywood Boulevard will see street closures related to the annual Awards. More details can be found on: http://www.oscars.org/closures.

To facilitate the production needs of the 90th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, March 4, 2018, the City of Los Angeles has finalized street closures and parking restrictions. Numerous agencies, including the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), California State Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) and the City of Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments were consulted in the planning process and agree that the finalized plan is the best way to accommodate all of the parties involved and ensure public safety.

LADOT will begin to strictly enforce the restricted no-parking policy for the Academy Awards on the dates and times listed below. This will include the citing and impounding of vehicles parked on these temporary restricted no-parking streets. Vehicles parked on the following streets will be towed to the Official Police Garage, Hollywood Tow located at 1015 N. Mansfield Avenue in Hollywood when cited by LADOT. There are signs that warn not to park in any parking spot within the closed area or your vehicle might be towed. More information can be found on: http://www.hollywoodtow.com/.

Motorists are advised to check the Official Police Garages (OPG) website, http://www.opglaviic.com , to find their vehicle. Alternatively, they may call 311 or Hollywood Tow, (323) 466-8583, to find information on how to recover their vehicles.
