DESCRIPTION:The Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation will be honoring five exceptional leaders who have made a difference in the Hollywood community during the Heroes of Hollywood Awards virtual event taking place on Thursday\, October 7th from 5:30   7:00 pm.\n\n\n\nThe distinguished 2021 Heroes are:\n\n	Shannon Geaney\, LAPD\n	Louis Abramson\, Hollywood Harvest\n	St. Vincent Meals on Wheels\n	Stanley Folb\, Developer\n	Kevin James\, (Past) President of the Board of Public Works I City of Los Angeles \n\nRecipient of The Distinguished Service Award in Memory of Johnny Grant:\n\nEdward James Olmos\, Actor. Producer. Director. Activist. \n\n\n\nRecipient of Mary Pickford Award:\n\nVanessa Williams\, Actress\, Founding member of Black Theatre United\n\n\n\nThis year's event is co-chaired by Craig Darian of Occidental Entertainment Group and Michelle Sobrino-Stearns of Variety. Their goal and continued focus is on raising funds and awareness for our Foundation which awards grants to organizations such as:\n\n\n	Boys & Girls Club Hollywood\n	My Friend's Place\n	YWCA Hollywood\n	Project Angel Food\n	Assistance League\n	The Salvation Army\n\n and many others! With the serious impact COVID has made on our local non-profits\, we have ambitious goals and hope that you will help us meet these goals by joining us on October 7th.
