DESCRIPTION:Hollywood On Point: Rights\, Risks\, & Response is a practical business preparedness workshop benefiting the Hollywood Community Foundation (HCF)\, designed to help Hollywood businesses better understand their rights\, responsibilities\, and options when faced with challenging situations. The program will cover de-escalation techniques\, legal considerations\, workplace and public safety\, and what business owners and their teams can and cannot do when responding to incidents. Attendees will leave with practical tools\, resources\, and greater confidence to respond effectively and responsibly. The HCF operates as the charitable arm of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. In alignment with the Hollywood Chamber\, the mission of the Foundation is to enhance the economic vitality of the community and make Hollywood a cleaner\, brighter\, safer place for all. \n\n***Ticket price: $99.50 per person for members\, $124.50 per person for non-members. The fair market value of the meal and materials provided is $25 per person. Only the amount paid in excess of $25 per person is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution\, as allowed by law. The HCF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN: 95-4557923). Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific deduction\; a tax-deductible receipt can be provided upon request.
