Join the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for the 2026 Economic Development Summit: Hollywood Next, bringing together business, civic, and community leaders for a forward-looking conversation about investment, development, and the forces shaping Hollywood’s economy.
The morning will explore why businesses and organizations are choosing to invest in Hollywood, the projects and opportunities driving momentum across the district, and what it will take to position Hollywood for continued growth. The program will also examine the film industry and production in Hollywood, the evolving business landscape, and opportunities on the horizon as Los Angeles prepares to welcome the world for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Our featured executive conversation, Hollywood’s Next Chapter: Development, Investment & Opportunity, will be moderated by Elex Michaelson, Anchor & Correspondent, CNN, and feature Chris Pearson, Senior Vice President, Hudson Pacific Properties; Dwaine Streater, Senior Vice President, Universal Music Group; and Ryan Blank, General Manager, Hollywood Palladium, with additional participants to be announced. Together, they’ll explore why major organizations are investing in Hollywood, the opportunities and challenges they see, and what will drive continued growth in the district.
The Summit will also feature an opening keynote from Ron Frierson, President & CEO, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, followed later in the program by a featured economic outlook and Q&A with Chris Thornberg, Founding Partner, Beacon Economics, offering insight into the economic trends and conditions impacting Los Angeles, Southern California, and the businesses that call the region home.
