Join us and Burt Ward, Batman’s original Robin at our spooktacular party! The Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation is planning this year's All Hallows' Eve Fundraiser, our annual party for Chamber members, their families and guests. Come and experience the fun on Wednesday, October 24th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hollywood Forever at 6000 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood. Hurry and register for this fundraiser. Admission is $50.
Legendary Burt Ward will be our guest! He portrayed Robin on the original Batman TV show of the mid-1960s, the onscreen action graphics which entirely changed the landscape of comic books forever. Ward was the youngest person on the set at 20 when production began and he did his own stunts. Nowadays, he runs a non-profit with his wife called Gentle Giants, which saves dogs by putting them up for adoption while also producing affordable and healthy dog food which can help double a pet's lifespan.
Presenting a guaranteed ghoulishly good time, more than 250 mortal guests of the Hollywood Chamber will experience Halloween from within the gates of the Hollywood Forever. Face your darkest fears with vampire bites, spirits and boos, and tricks and treats. Stroll down the famous cemetery amongst psychic readers, guided tours. There will be face painters as well as kids activities and costume contests. And bring the kids to this family-friendly spooktacular and let children 12 and under roam with free admission. Children must be accompanied with adults.
As a fundraiser for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation, this event, where ghosts and guests mingle, will raise money that the Community Foundation distributes back into the community in the form of grants to local organizations.
