Join us for an immersive "Storytelling" workshop with acclaimed editor Lillian E. Benson, ACE. Lillian is an award-winning editor of narrative films and documentaries, including Eyes on the Prize II, Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise, and Get In The Way: The Journey of John Lewis. The first African-American woman in American Cinema Editors, she received their prestigious Career Achievement Award in 2022. Benson is a leader in promoting diversity in filmmaking, serving on the boards of ACE and the Motion Picture Editors Guild, and mentoring the next generation of editors. Currently, she is editing the feature film Flash Before the Bang. Learn how to uncover your story, master the art of powerful storytelling, and structure compelling narratives.
