Returning to the role is Deborah Robin as Doris Day, reprising her award-winning performance from P3 Theatre Company’s 2020 production. Robin received the Orange County Theatre Guild Award for Best Performance for her portrayal of the legendary entertainer.
Joining her is P3 Theatre favorite Christopher Showerman as The Fan, as together they take audiences beyond the movies, magazine covers, and famous smile to reveal the remarkable woman behind the image.
Doris Day captivated generations as the sunny, wholesome “girl next door”—but her life away from the cameras was anything but simple. Behind her enormous success were heartbreaks, complicated relationships, unexpected challenges, and a resilience that helped make her story as fascinating as the characters she played on screen.
