Los Angeles City Planning is moving ahead with efforts to update the Hollywood Community Plan. In August, a refreshed draft of the plan's goals and policies will be shared with the public, as well as a new "Community Implementation Overlay Zone," or CPIO. The Economic Development committee will be hosting a workshop with the Department for members to learn how the plan has evolved in response to stakeholder input and learn more about the CPIO and the role it can play in establishing new affordable housing incentives, urban design standards, and preserving historic resources in Hollywood. This meeting will be used for the Department to receive business community input and ensure proper changes can be made as we look towards recovery and future development.
You must be a member of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in good standing to participate in any of the Chamber’s committees. The Committee Chair must approve members who wish to join a committee.
