Date: June 25, 2019
Time: 5:30 PM - 11:00 PM PDT
Event Description:
On June 25 at the newly opened L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, celebrated chefs and Smiling Pizza Project founding partners Chris Bianco (Pizzeria Bianco, AZ), Jonathan Goldsmith (Spacca Napoli Pizzeria, Chicago), and Steve Samson (Rossoblu, LA) will join forces with the renowned da Michele team, Pizzaiolo Michele Rubini and Executive Chef Antonio Giordano, with host/producer Francesco Zimone for an eight-course charity dinner at da Michele Hollywood. For one night only, guests can have the famed pizzas from each chef, accompanied with appetizers and small plates from da Michele and wine. Proceeds from the dinner will be donated to A Place Called Home which provides a safe, nurturing environment with proven programs in arts, education and wellness for the young people in South Central Los Angeles. The Smiling Pizza Project will give kids from underprivileged families an inside look into the hospitality and culinary world by learning the art of cooking and/or pizza making, as well as the management field by making them aware of opportunities to earn a career in operation, front and back of the house, customer service, and general practices of a restaurant establishment. The goal of this dinner is a donation of at least $30,000 for the fiscal 2019 year.
