Through this work, he is changing the narrative of how the mainstream sees Haitian society by promoting positive Haitian images.
FEATURE FILM: The Life of Yuli (Si Dios Quiere, Yuli), Directed by Jean Jean. This film tells the story of a Haitian woman who lived in the Dominican Republic for more than 35 years, fighting to raise her children with dignity while dealing with her precarious immigration status. The child, who made Yuli cross the border way back in the 80's is back and finds out that his mother is still in peril. What makes us belong to a place?
