Off the Sidewalk: Pre-Olympic Sprint to Halve Street Homelessness in LA
Hollywood 4WRD and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host a summit exploring fast, supportive ways to help individuals move off the sidewalk and into housing. This in-person event will feature two panels focusing on short-term solutions to address street homelessness in light of the LA Alliance settlement.
We'll explore how our community can support these solutions in Hollywood. Join experts, practitioners, local businesses, residents, service providers, government, and philanthropy to discuss:
- Temporary housing options like safe camping, safe parking, and tiny homes
- Ways to overcome practical hurdles
- How businesses and the community can help create solutions
Together, we'll propose an ambitious goal to LA City: halve unsheltered homelessness before the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. We'll also lay the groundwork for putting these ideas into action as a team.
