State of the State - Presented by Variety & Kaiser Permanente

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce proudly presents our annual State of the State, a premier Signature Event bringing together Hollywood’s business, civic, and community leaders for an important conversation on the future of California. This year’s program features an esteemed panel of California State Legislators representing Hollywood and neighboring communities in Sacramento, providing firsthand insight into the policies, priorities, and legislative initiatives shaping our region and statewide economy.

The panel will feature:

• Senator Ben Allen, District 24 (Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Westside, Malibu, South Bay)
• Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur, District 51 (Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Westside)
• Assemblymember Mark González, District 54 (Downtown LA, East LA, Koreatown, Boyle Heights, Southeast LA)
• Assemblymember Jessica Caloza, District 52 (Northeast LA, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Silver Lake, Echo Park)

Attendees will hear updates on key legislative priorities impacting business, public safety, housing, transportation, economic development, and entertainment production, while gaining valuable insight into how state policies will continue to shape Hollywood and the greater Los Angeles region. As Hollywood remains the global center of entertainment and creativity, State of the State serves as a vital platform for collaboration, advocacy, and direct engagement between the business community and California’s state leadership.
