The Aster Presents Food As Art with Chef Jaime Pesaque, World's 50 Best Chefs
In collaboration with World?s 50 Best Restaurants and Mayta founder Chef Jaime Pesaque from Lima. Peru, The Aster continues their one-of-a-kind culinary pop-up series at their signature rooftop restaurant Lemon Grove. Pesaque?s passion for the land shines through his cuisine?each dish a personal contemporary expression based on the flavors and preparations of memory and history brought to modernity. Born and raised in Peru, trained in Europe and apprenticed in Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy and Spain, Chef Jaime Pesaque is the creator of many acclaimed brands including 500 Grados, Mad Burger, Yachay and his flagship restaurant Mayta. In 2022 Mayta entered the list of The World's 50 Best, and was once again elected in 2023. It was also awarded Best Restaurant in the World in the 3rd edition World Culinary Awards. The five course dinner will feature Pesaque?s modern Peruvian dishes, alongside optional add-ons, such as menu-inspired wine and cocktail pairings.
