Tourism Committee Meeting 12/4

Dear Tourism Committee,

The report on the street vending ordinance has just been issued and a hearing has been scheduled for this afternoon, Tuesday, November 27th, at 1pm.

This is expected to go for a while and considering the importance of the hearing, I believe it would serve the Hollywood Chamber better for us to be at the hearing testifying rather than holding our regular meeting. We are rescheduling the tourism committee meeting to Tuesday, December 4th at 2:30pm.

If you would like to attend the hearing today, November 27th at 1 p.m. and give your input, please join us at council chambers located at 200 N. Spring St. Room 340, inside City Hall.  You will have to be in line by Noon in order to attend the hearing.
 
Please note that the Tour Bus Operator Task Force meeting is still scheduled to take place at 2:30pm today at the Chamber. Thank you for your understanding and I look forward to giving you the report next Tuesday at 2:30pm here at the Chamber!

Committee meets every other fourth Tuesday, at 3:30 p.m. These meetings provide inside information on topics and issues important to Hollywood’s tourism industries. Works to encourage and facilitate tourism in Hollywood by sponsoring special events, providing tourism demographics and supports projects to increase tourism. Guest speakers and presentations by industry leaders keep members informed of cutting-edge trends and opportunities.
