On Sunday, August 11, 2019, Academy Award-winning actor Don Cheadle will take a step away from his prolific role as an actor and activist to host [UP]Rising: An Afro-Future Her-Story, an incredible night of international jazz at the Ford Theatres in Hollywood. Two of South Africa’s top women in jazz, Siya Makuzeni, a world-renowned trombonist and vocalist and Thandi Ntuli, a multi-talented keyboardist and singer-songwriter, will perform in commemoration of South Africa’s National Women’s Day.
