CAPITAL INTEGRATED ARTS (CIA) is a Los Angeles-based independent public art consulting agency that specializes in a range of curatorial, project planning, and project management services for municipal arts agencies, professional artists, community organizations, cultural institutions, art collectors, and private developers. Projects range in scale and from arts driven events and temporary installations to monumental artworks permanently integrated into diverse built environments. Founded in 2018 by Marcus G. Mitchell, CIA is built upon Marcus’ extensive career in public art that began in 2000 with an internship at the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Public Art Division. Marcus has devoted the past twenty years to studying, planning, developing, administering, and producing site-specific public artworks and arts-driven programs for diverse communities and contexts throughout the world. CIA strives to operate at the intersection of visual art, civic service and community investment while providing seamlessly integrated design solutions for diverse architectural contexts. The services that CIA delivers are deliberately crafted with the intention of supporting and enhancing the public art commissioning process from A to Z, wherever our client’s needs may be.
