I am a nonprofit leader of 15 years currently Director of Development at Project Angel Food one of LA'S most beloved nonprofits that for 26 years has been delivering nutritious meals to persons battling HIV/AIDS, kidney failure, heart disease, diabetes and cancer. The people we serve are too sick to grocery shop and cook for themselves and live throughout LA County. We prepare package and deliver 10,000 meals every week come rain or shine from our one kitchen facility at 922 Vine Street in Hollywood. The meals are prepared mostly by volunteers keeping costs very low so $.85 on every dollar goes directly towards the meals.
