Smart City Labs was founded on a vision for what Hollywood should be- and could be again.

Hollywood has been a center of innovation in media and technology for over a century. We see Hollywood reborn as an Innovation District powered by its own fiber and wireless network connecting newly tech-enabled Hollywood landmarks and familiar settings transformed as Smart Buildings.

All of Hollywood will benefit from an enhanced user experience, more efficient and comfortable buildings, and advanced personal security and safety in partnership with some of the world’s most significant technology companies.

Global technology companies participate by providing tech products and applications, while Smart City Labs partners with local property owners to develop sustainable, revenue-producing use cases.

We share the revenues from our success with our project partners and stakeholders.

The first phase pilots are intended to pave the way to a program covering the entire Hollywood entertainment and media production district and to serve as a prototype for scalable projects in other cities locally and beyond.
