Panel Discusses How to Elevate Your Brand to Stay Relevant and Continue to Evolve
Panelists Debra Balamos, Ish Obregon and Myra Casciato shared helpful tools, stories, insights from their diverse backgrounds working with media, branding, leadership, technology, content development and strategic partnerships strategies. They revisited commonly-known tips and shared new tips which business need to use and adapt to be successfully seen, known, and sought out now and in upcoming years.
Some of the things discussed included staying true to your brand and ‘Know Thyself’; identifying, creating, sustaining, evolving personal and business brands; acknowledging what’s working on social media; and recognizing key insights for remaining successful.

Debra Balamos, President of Balamos Group, is a senior entertainment marketing strategist with expertise in leadership development. For 25 years, Debra has demonstrated continued success in the entertainment industry and non-profit sectors as a senior entertainment marketing executive and leader of key partnerships, brands, distribution and teams. Debra has worked for Showtime Networks, Sundance Channel, Film Independent, MTV, Ovation TV and The Entertainment Industry Foundation. Clients include: ABC/Disney, Nickelodeon, Crown Media, Turner. Ismael Obregon is the Chief Creative Officer and one of the Founders of Oishii Creative. He spearheads strategy, design and branding initiatives for media, technology and entertainment companies. With more than 25 years of experience, Obregon oversees clients in the sports, media, TV, interactive and video gaming industries, such as EA Sports, NFL Network, NBCUniversal, FOX, E!, HBO, ESPN, Discovery A&E, Scripps, Nickelodeon and Nicktoons. He has held leadership and creative roles at ad agencies, TV networks/ stations across the U.S.
Myra Casciato specializes in production, contentment development and social media strategies that raise awareness and connect organizations with desired audiences. Myra had unique success creating an International Commercial for Omorose Cosmetics in Malasia. She has worked with 51 Minds Entertainment, Canvas, AnswersMedia, Ovation TV and Spotify. Myra has specific expertise with millennial audiences. Her short film “PARE,” which she wrote, produced and directed, recently screened in the Los Angeles Columbia’s Filmmakers Festival.
