Flowers Placed on Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star in Remembrance of Comedian Don Rickles

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF—April 6, 2017- Flowers were placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame star of Walk of Famer and Comedian Don Rickles. The memorial wreath was placed on his star today, Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. PDT. Rickles' star is located at 6834 Hollywood Boulevard.
“Lots of laughter is being heard in Heaven now more than ever since one of Hollywood’s greatest comedians is entering Heaven’s Gates. The ‘King of Insults’ Don Rickles will be missed,” stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “Even at his own star ceremony, Don was flinging zingers at his guest speakers Bob Newhart and John Lasseter and making the crowd roar with laughter. May he rest in peace.”
Rickles was honored with a star in the category of Live Performance on October 17, 2000.
The flowers are placed on the stars on behalf of the Hollywood community by the Hollywood Historic Trust and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The Walk of Fame address directory can be found at www.walkoffame.com.
