Hollywood Celebrities Dedicate Time for the Chamber's Annual Police & Firefighter Appreciation Day

Even the scorching heat has not kept the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and our celebrity friends from showing their appreciation to our men and women in uniform at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s 23rd Annual Police and Fire Fighters Appreciation Day BBQ at the LAPD Hollywood Division on Thursday, August 31, 2017. Working cohesively with the Hollywood Chamber this year were presenting sponsors Avalon Hollywood and 204 Events.
“This event continues to offer the business community an opportunity to recognize and honor our community’s true gatekeepers,” said Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber President & CEO. “We want to show them how grateful the community is for all the hard work they do for Hollywood,” he added.
Celebrities who helped serve the first shift included Jake Busey, Anne-Marie Johnson, Christopher K Johnson, Rusty Joiner, Robert Kovacik, Kate Linder, Erica Luttrell, Heather McComb, Erin Murphy, Angelica Vale.
Food donors included Avalon Hollywood, Bobby Salazar’s Mexican Foods, Inc., Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Ciabatta Bar, Farmer Boys Hollywood, Fresh Brothers, Good Greek Grill, Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd., Hint Water, Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Jane Q, McDonald’s, Wood & Vine. Additional donors included Airbnb and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Gift certificates were donated by Bliss Spa, Cabo Cantina, Fancifull Fine Foods & Gift Baskets, Fresh Brothers, Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City, Howl at the Moon, Jameson's Irish Pub, Mama Shelter LA, Mel's Drive-In, The Pie Hole LA, Pink's Hot Dogs, Ripley's Believe It or Not!
