The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is always actively looking out for the interests of our members and promoting Hollywood.
Here are a few of our activities from the last couple of weeks:
The Chamber met with State officials to discuss the proposed new 60,000-sq.ft. Hollywood Courthouse that will replace a former one that has been closed for several years.
Councilmember David Ryu delivered his first report to Chamber members at a luncheon held at the Avalon.
Highly-respected actress Kathy Bates received the 2,889th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On hand to help honor her were two previous Walk of Fame honorees – Billy Bob Thornton and Shirley MacLaine
Seleta Reynolds, the General Manager of the L.A. Department of Transportation, addressed the Chamber Board of Directors and updated them on Express Park coming to Hollywood, as well as updating the Cherokee parking garage.
Chamber Senior Vice Chair Jeff Zarrinnam worked to build community consensus on a plan to address issues associated with the Vermont Triangle.
Chamber President Leron Gubler was the keynote speaker at the BizNow conference on Hollywood.
Long-time Chamber employee Ana Martinez was honored as one of the 25 most influential Latinas in the U.S
