2021 Heroes of Hollywood Virtual Fundraiser

The Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation will be honoring five exceptional leaders who have made a difference in the Hollywood community during the Heroes of Hollywood Awards virtual event taking place on Thursday, October 7^th from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.

The distinguished 2021 Heroes are:

Shannon Geaney, LAPD
Louis Abramson, Hollywood Harvest
St. Vincent Meals on Wheels
Stanley Folb, Developer
Kevin James, (Past) President of the Board of Public Works I City of Los Angeles

Recipient of The Distinguished Service Award in Memory of Johnny Grant:
Edward James Olmos, Actor. Producer. Director. Activist.

Recipient of Mary Pickford Award:
Vanessa Williams, Actress, Founding member of Black Theatre United

This year’s event is co-chaired by Craig Darian of Occidental Entertainment Group and Michelle Sobrino-Stearns of Variety. Their goal and continued focus is on raising funds and awareness for our Foundation which awards grants to organizations such as:

Boys & Girls Club Hollywood
My Friend’s Place
YWCA Hollywood
Project Angel Food
Assistance League
The Salvation Army

…and many others! With the serious impact COVID has made on our local non-profits, we have ambitious goals and hope that you will help us meet these goals by joining us on October 7th.
